High Court restrains Patriarch faction from Entering Thrikkunnathu Seminary in Aluva

The Kerala High Court has prevented the Patriarch faction of the Malankara Church from performing any religious ceremonies in St. Mary's Church, Thrikkunnathu Seminary, Aluva, its sepulcher room, and premises.

At the same time, as per the order, the members of the faction may enter the church and its premise as devotees, but not as persons who represent the faction. The faction members shall not cause any hindrance or obstruction to the clergy of the Malankara Church doing any service in the church or its properties.

The court noted that the “order is applicable to everyone from top to bottom in the Patriarch faction. No one other than priests and other spiritual leaders of the Malankara Church, as recognized by the Supreme Court, can do any service and use its premises,” the order said.
